Ministerial Candidature
With the pioneering work done by his mother, Madam Mary Essilfie (Araba Pokuwa), Catechist Kwa Etsiwa Hammond, the then Catechist at Mumford, Michael Kofi Ninsin, his Sunday School Teacher, mentor, and spiritual father and encouragement from the family as well as church members and non-church members, Kweku opted for the Ordained Ministry. The final decision was taken after careful examination and becoming fully convinced of the grace and gifts of God upon him. Very Rev Kweku Ackom therefore candidated for the Ordained Ministry in 1992 and was successful and in 1993 was accepted for ministerial formation at the then Trinity College (Now Trinity Theological Seminary).
